Silver Spring, The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC) announced the graduation of local executives from its 2015 Executive Education Program (EEP). CRMSDC’ inaugural StreetWiseTM MBA curriculum is dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs to develop talent and grow their business to the next level of leadership.
The graduates were selected by CRMSDC based on their business acumen, revenue and leadership ability. “CRMSDC is proud of our graduates and we can see an immediate return on our investment,” says Sharon R. Pinder, President, and CEO of The Capital Region MSDC. “The experience is invaluable for our MBEs and is in the keeping of our mission of increasing capacity in support of supplier diversity for our corporations.”
Through the Interise StreetWise MBA™ aggressive curriculum, small business owners learn the tools necessary to increase businesses revenue, create jobs and invigorate local economies. The curriculum includes business and strategic assessment; financial analysis and management; marketing and sales; resources and putting it all together. Nationwide, StreetWise™ MBA graduates reported revenue growth of nearly 40% last year. CRMSDC’s program was sponsored by Capital One, Freddie Mac, Northrop Grumman and Wells Fargo.
