The Client
The Client is a Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting services to the Department of Defense and future government customers. The Client currently supports the Army Force Development (FD) Directorates, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security, the Army Force Management School (AFMS), and two Program Management Offices. It also supports the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology).
The Problem/Opportunity
The Client had 14 new positions with the Headquarters, Department of the Army Force Development (HQDA) at the Pentagon in support of Army G8 at the same location. These positions required at least eight years of DoD Force Development (FD) related experience, out of which three years must be direct HQDA or equivalent experience. Also, experience on Pentagon/DOD staff or acquisition assignment was preferred.
The biggest challenge was finding candidates with eight years of experience with the HQDA Force Development while optimizing the remuneration and getting the Generic Force Development Questionnaire filled out by candidates.
