The Client has been a leading enterprise Content Services Platform (CSP) for Federal Defense and civilian agencies since 1995 and is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. They serve hundreds of government, commercial, academic, union, and association clients and the core of their customer base consists of Federal government agencies. Services offered by the client include digitization and content conversion services, systems integration, and professional support services. The client is a SBA-certified small business on GSA Schedules 36 and 70.
The client has worked with various Federal and Intelligence agencies with contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, U.S. Navy, Seaport NxG, NASPO, NIH-CIO-SP3-SB, Center for Disease Control (CDC) G-DaTA, Army Geospatial Center (AGC), GRIDS III, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), JETS and U.S. Government Publishing Office, Digitization and Metadata Information Services.
The Problem/Opportunity
The client needed to fill open IT positions, which included project integrator, data scientist, software engineer, and application developer for the Central Intelligence Agency in Virginia. The positions had been vacant for over one year. The main challenges faced while recruiting for these positions were:
