The positions had been vacant for over two years. The main challenges faced while recruiting for these positions were:

The positions required entry-level candidates with an active full-scope polygraph clearance.
The positions were very low-budgeted as compared to the prevailing market rates.
The positions were onsite in Fort Meade, MD, and candidates were hesitant to travel to the place of performance.
Interested candidates were looking for remote opportunities.
The positions required candidates to have niche skills, which made them challenging.
