The Client, a leading 8(a) WOSB IT services firm supporting defense and federal agencies, partnered with iQuasar for Cleared Recruitment for USSOCOM Knowledge Systems Roles. Through our intelligence-focused hiring strategy, we sourced and placed highly qualified, security-cleared professionals who met strict technical and cultural requirements essential to USSOCOM’s mission.
The Client
The Client is an 8(a) WOSB IT services and solutions company founded in 2004. With over two decades of award-winning performance, they have established a strong track record supporting DoD and federal civilian agency contracts nationwide. The Client specializes in automated infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analysis, and enterprise software solutions. They create systems and applications that overcome challenges and enhance integration, security, interoperability, mobility, latency, reliability, redundancy, and support for dispersed user groups, all in support of agency strategic goals and initiatives.
The Problem/Opportunity
Recruiting for USSOCOM’s specialized Knowledge Systems roles presented several hurdles, including stringent security clearance requirements, the need for highly specific mission expertise, and on-site staffing demands.
The Client required support in identifying and placing candidates with an active security clearance specializing in Knowledge Systems roles, supporting USSOCOM’s strategic intelligence mission. These roles encompassed a range of complex billets, including:
- The roles required active TS/SCI with recent CI or FS Polygraphs, significantly narrowing the talent pool.
- The Client sought candidates with SOCOM or Joint Special Operations Command experience, particularly those with a background in J2/J6 functions or strategic planning.
- Positions were on-site, with no flexibility for hybrid or remote arrangements.
- The role required candidates with proven experience across SharePoint, Power Platform, and Knowledge Management, making it challenging to find professionals who possessed strong expertise in all three critical areas.
- Candidates who have previously worked on this contract are not eligible for rehire.
The iQuasar Solution
iQuasar’s dedicated recruitment team conducted a thorough analysis of the Client’s requirements and launched an extensive candidate search using the following strategies:
- We leveraged trusted networks and targeted sourcing to identify qualified candidates with active TS/SCI and full-scope polygraphs.

- We offered relocation assistance packages that encourage top talent to meet on-site requirements and relocate when necessary.
- Our team identified candidates with all the necessary skills and certifications using focused search techniques, enabling us to find qualified, cleared professionals.
- We built our own talent pipeline, nurtured relationships with cleared professionals, and leveraged referrals, enabling early engagement and securing qualified candidates.
