The Client

The Client is a Woman-Owned, Small, Disadvantaged Business (SDB) headquartered in Fairfax, VA, and holds a Top Secret Facility Clearance. The Client has certifications in ISO 9001-2015 – Quality Management Systems, ISO/IEC 27001- Information Security Management, ISO 20000-1 – Information Technology Service Management System, ISO 14000 – Environmental Management, and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level III for Services and Development.

The Client provides technical and management resource assistance to federal and commercial clients. The Client has successfully developed relationships with the Federal government agencies such as FBI, DIA, DHS, DLA, TREAS, DOJ, DECA, USDA, NAVAIR, USSOCOM, and NGA and offers services via a variety of contracting vehicles.

The Problem/Opportunity

The Client needed to submit key resumes for the Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) contract having nine key positions. The main challenges faced while recruiting for these positions were:

  • The positions required a Secret clearance and two mandatory certifications – Baseline certification and a Windows Computing Environment certification
  • The contract was in Fort Lee, VA, where there is a limited pool of relevant candidates. The positions were onsite, and candidates were unwilling to relocate to the performance location from other parts of the country, as they were strictly looking for a remote or hybrid opportunity
