The Client
The Client is a CMMI-DEV ML3 and ISO 9001-certified organization located in Virginia, providing complex enterprise solutions supporting Federal customers. Their solutions include Cloud-Based, Low Code, and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
The Client provides its services to multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Interior (DOI), Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Peace Corps, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The Problem/Opportunity
The Client needed to fill a vacancy for the OutSystems Developer position with the DOL. The role required a niche skill and extensive experience in the OutSystems platform. OutSystems is a European low code development platform for developing mobile and web enterprise applications. There was a limited pool of US citizens with hands-on experience and active certifications in the OutSystems domain.
The biggest challenge was locating the right candidate throughout the US with such experience and certifications.
