The Client

The Client is headquartered in Washington, DC, and has a presence in over 25 states. They specialize in Management Consulting, Creative Services, and Technology and offer additional services such as Revenue Cycle, Administrative Operations Support, and Clinical Support.

Their Industry Best Practice Advisors (IBPAs) serve as trusted partners for the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The IBPAs also support the Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) in developing processes for updated policies, standard operating procedures, memoranda, etc., to govern practices of post-VA EHRM implementation.

The Problem/Opportunity

The Client had a few Healthcare positions such as Audiologists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners with the Department of Veterans Affairs, based across the US. The Client faced difficulties filling these positions due to several reasons, such as:

  • A shortage of candidates in the Healthcare domain
  • The positions required licenses and certifications issued by the American Board
  • The salary expectations of the candidates for these positions were very high
  • Few of these positions required a specific certification and license issued by a particular state
  • Some of these positions required candidates to pass the Minimum Background Investigation
