The Client is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Aberdeen, Maryland, specializing in providing services such as Systems Engineering, Testing, Sensor and System Evaluations, Prototyping, Modeling, Simulation, Network Security and Information Assurance, Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) to the Federal Government.
The Client needed to fill deployable positions to Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations, and there were various challenges associated with these positions:
- The positions were vacant for a very long period of time.
- The positions required candidates to have specialized skills, including hardware reverse engineering.
- The candidate pool was very limited, and finding the ideal candidate was even more difficult as the positions required candidates with security clearance, bachelor’s degree in the related field, and 450, 451 intelligence courses.
- These positions also required the candidates to fill out a survey form, a skill matrix, and an onboarding LCAT (Labor Category) form, for which they showed reluctance and backed out.
